R.I.P Michael Jackson

As someone who has been having trouble updating my blog on a regular basis this summer, I regret to make this my new and most recent post. Earlier today, Michael Jackson was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering a cardiac arrest and has now been reported dead. I'm not going to bother with the details of his death and even much of his life since most news stations are bombarding the public with such details, but as a music icon and a pioneer of pop, I feel I must give him some tribute. Unfortunately, the latter years of his life were not documented because of his music but rather because of the controversy surrounding him and his choices. But despite his many issues, from which I believe stems from a childhood of manipulation and fame, he will always has been and continues to be the King of Pop.
